Roseanna was enumerated with John Fern Sr on the census of 7 April 1861 at Woodburn Land 1 Springburn Rd, Springburn, Pariish of Springburn, Lananarkshire, Scotland, as Rose Ferren. She is a 3 year old female born circa 1858 in Springburn, Lanarkshire. She is enumerated as a daughter.⁴
