Hugh McMuldren

     Hugh McMuldren was born on 16 May 1870 at Dernconner, Ayrshire, Scotland.¹ He was the son of William McMuldren and Jane O'Hara.¹

Hugh was enumerated with William McMuldren on the census of 2 April 1871 at Auchinleck, Ayrshire, Scotland, as Hugh McMuldrin. He is a 10 month old male born circa 1870 in Auchinleck, Ayrshire.²

Hugh was enumerated with John Downie on the census of 25 June 1900 at Houtzdale, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, as Hugh McMuldren. He is a single white male 27 years old born May 1873 in Scotland. Both of his parents were born in Ireland. He immigrated to the United States in 1881 and has been a resident for 19 years. He works as a coal miner.³ Hugh McMuldren was the godparent at the baptism of Isabel Galvin at Roman Catholic Church, Houtzdale, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania.⁴
