Hugh O'Hara

     Hugh O'Hara was born in January 1837 at Parish of Drummaul, County Antrim, Ireland.² He was the son of Patrick O'Hara and Jane Wallace.¹ Hugh O'Hara was baptized on 29 January 1837 at Parish of Drummaul, County Antrim, Ireland; 29 Jan 1837 Hugh, of Pat O'Hara and Jane Wallace, Sps William Ward and Ellen McGroggen.²

Hugh was enumerated with Isabella Fairlie on the census of 30 March 1851 at Back Street, Coathill, Old Monkland, Lanarkshire, Ireland, as Hugh Oharra. He is a 14 year old male born circa 1837 in Ireland. He is enumerated as a lodger and he is a coal miner.³

Hugh became a widower when Susan Eckles died on 6 September 1864.⁶

Hugh O'Hara witnessed the marriage of Charles McCormack and Jane O'Hara on 30 April 1866 at Parish of Old Kilpatrick, Dunbarton, Scotland.⁷
