Catherine O'Hara

     Catherine O'Hara was born in 1813 at County Antrim, Ireland.¹ She was the daughter of Terence O'Hara and Jane McGill.

Catherine O'Hara married Charles McEwan on 14 February 1836 at Parish of Drummaul, County Antrim, Ireland. 14 February 1836, Charles McKeown M'greah (Maghereagh) to Catherine O'Hara, Culnigihan, Witness --his brother and __Mcellvy of said place.^1,2

Catherine was enumerated with Charles McEwan on the census of 7 April 1861 at Collier's Row, Duntocher, Old Kilpatrick, Dunbartonshire, Scotland, as Catherine McEwan. She is a 48 year old female born circa 1813 in Old Kilpatrick. She is enumerated as a wife.⁵

Catherine O'Hara died on 18 March 1863 at Collier Row, Duntocher, Parish of Old Kilpatrick, Dunbarton; died of phthisis pulmonalis (t.b.of the lung) of 7 months duration, certified by Jas B.
