     Katherine E. Masterson was born on 13 March 1921 at Scammon, Cherokee County, Kansas.1 She was the daughter of Frances Masterson and Annie Celia Brady.1

Katherine E. Masterson married Frank Warren on 21 July 1951 at Arma, Crawford County, Kansas.

Katherine E. Warren, 80, of Pittsburg, died at 1:20 a.m. Thursday, July 19, 2001, at Beverly Rehabilitation Center, Pittsburg.
She was born March 13, 1921, at Scammon, to Francis and Ann C. Brady Masterson. She moved to Arma with her family when she was a young child. She attended Arma schools and was a 1939 graduate of Arma High School. She had been a resident of Pittsburg since 1951.
She married Frank Warren on July 21, 1951, at Arma. He survives at the home.
Mrs. Warren was a homemaker.
She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Pittsburg. She belonged to St. Mary's Altar Society and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was active in DCCW and the Senior Citizens.
Additional survivors include two brothers, Joseph D. Masterson of Pittsburg, and Gene Ed Masterson of Arma, and several nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Gertrude Masterson and Genevieve Greenhaw; and a brother, Francis Masterson.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Pittsburg with Fr. Thomas Stroot as celebrant. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Frontenac. The parish rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, Pittsburg, where friends may call after 9 a.m. today. Arrangements are under the direction of Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, 522 S. Broadway, Pittsburg.
