An obituary was in the Scammon newspaper: Mrs Mary Crilly, 83, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Pat Quinn at 10 o'clock last Friday night. She had been in failing health for some time. Mrs. Crilly was born Feb 9, 1850 in Liverpool, England. She had been a resident of this district for the past 49 years.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs Quinn of this city, Mrs. Anna Kelly and Mrs. Alice Schrappen of St. Louis and Mrs Mary Ryan of Kansas City, 27 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 9 o'clock Sunday morning at St. Bridget's Catholic Church with Rev. P.J. O'Leary in charge. Burial was in St. Bridget's cemetery.
Mrs. Crilly, having spent the greater part of her life in this district, was well known. Friends will remember her as a kindly old lady, devoted to her family,who loved the association of kindred and friends. The community sympathzes with the bereaved relatives.1
