Thomas Corby was born circa 1874 at Pennsylvania.2 The following appeared in the Carbondale Leader:
By the plea of guilty made by constable Thomas Corby, of Fell township, yesterday morning, he not only placed himself in an uncomfortable position, but also another defendant, who will be called for trial this week. The case in which Corby pleaded guilty yesterday morning was the first of three cases in which he is involved., two as a defendant and one as an important witness. The defendant in the latter case is Dr. W. D. Donne, of Providence.
Daniel H. Davis, of this city, is prosecuting Corby for conspiracy and another serious offense. He is also prosecuting Dr. Donne. Yesterday morning Corby was placed on trial, charged with having had criminal relations with Bessie Davis, the 19-year old daughter of the prosecutor. The case was called before Judge Edwards and the defendant pleaded not guilty.3
Thomas Corby married Elizabeth M. Grady, daughter of Michael Grady and Jane McCartney, on 23 September 1908.1,4

He has been married for 1 year and works as a constable for the township. It is unknown where his parents were born. Enumerated with him were Elizabeth M. Grady.5
