William Edward Gallagher Sr married Ella Florence Grady, daughter of William Grady and Barbara McCormick, on 17 November 1920 at Scammon, Cherokee County, Kansas.5,6,7 In September 1926 William Edward Gallagher Sr lived at Ruth, White Pine Co, Nevada; "My Dad, Ed, Jim and Florence & 2 boys left for Nevada in Sept., 1926 in a Model T Ford and it took them weeks to get there. Florence's husband was out there already. My Dad then came back and drove Ed's car, Ella, Mary Jean, Billy and Joe Grady to Ruth, Nevada in August of 1927."1

It is the first time he has been home for several years."9 His Social Security Number was 526-05-0625 in June 1961 at Denver, Denver County, Colorado.10 As of June 1961, William Edward Gallagher Sr lived at 469 21st Street, Denver, Denver County, Colorado.10 He was Cement finisher in June 1961 at Denver, Denver County, Colorado.11

William Edward Gallagher Sr died on 7 August 1961 at Denver General Hospital, Denver, Denver County, Colorado, at age 62.12 He was buried on 10 August 1961 at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Jefferson Co, Colorado.13
