Gene Masterson of Arma, Kansas, who is Annie Brady Masterson's youngest son, in a conversation, remembers William as a Union representative with a high energy level. He had a practical side which was evidenced by his carrying a baseball bat to help stabilize discussion. Gene recounted an occassion when he was returning from Air Force duty in French Morrocco during the 50's and William picked him up at the airport in NYC.1,2 William Brady was born on 11 February 1888 at Scammon, Cherokee County, Kansas.3,4 He was the son of John Arthur Brady Sr. and Isabella McCormick. William Brady was baptized on 2 March 1888 at St. Bridget's Catholic Church, Scammon, Cherokee County, Kansas.4

William Brady died in October 1963 at Cannonsburg, Washington County, Pennsylvania, at age 75.11
