     Anna McCormick was born on 16 August 1892 at Columbiana County, Ohio.1,2 She was the daughter of Daniel McCormick and Hannah Gavin.

Anna was enumerated with Hannah Gavin on the census of 15 April 1910 at Mineral Twp, Scammon, Cherokee County, Kansas, as Anna McCormick. Anna is a 17 year old single white female born in Ohio. Bothe of her parents were born in Ireland and she can read and write.4

Anna McCormick married Ira Pearl Steinbrook on 9 March 1912 at Columbus, Cherokee County, Kansas.5,6,7

Anna McCormick died on 6 March 1929 at Eldorado, Saline County, Illinois, at age 36.8
An obituary was in the Eldorado newspaper: Mrs Ira Steinbrook is called to rest Mrs Anna Steinbrook, 37, wife of Ira Steinbrook, passed away last night at her home in Reed addition in this city and another Eldorado home is bowed in sorrow as a devoted husband and five children mourn the loss of the beloved wife and mother. Her death followed closely upon that of the infant son, which died three hours after its birth last week and was laid to rest in Wolf Creek cemetery last Saturday.

The death of Mrs Steinbrook is mourned by not only the grief stricken family, but by the entire neighborhood in which she lived and was held in high esteem. A loving wife and mother and a kndly neighbor and friend, this good woman will be sadly missed.

The husband and five children, the oldest a daughter sixteen years of age, have the sympathy of the entire community in their sorrow. Mrs Steinbrook's mother is also living and funeral arrangements await her arrival from Kansas.9

The following article was in the Scammon paper: Mrs Hannah McCarmick and Mr and Mrs Dan McCarmick returned home Sunday from Ill., where they had been called on account of the death of Mrs. Ira Steinbrooks.
