An obituary was in the Scammon newspaper: Mrs. Isabelle Brady, 82, died at 11:30 o'clock last Tuesday morning at the home here after a two-day illness. She had been in failing health for over a year. Mrs Brady was born in Scotland Nov 21, 1855, and came to Scammon in 1878, where she had made her home since. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs Mary Fleming, of Kansas City; Mrs Francis Masterson, of Arma; Mrs George Henson, of Cinncinnati; three sons, Pat, of Scammon; Henry, of Weir, and William, of Cannonsburg, PA; two sisters, Mrs Jas Ferns, of Scammon; Mrs Hugh Harrigan, of Corona; one brother, Angelo McCormick, of Chicago, 17 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The funeral was held last Friday morning at 9 o'clock from the Catholic church with Rev. Phil White in charge. Burial was in the St. Bridget's cemetery here.25
