     Josephine Cecilia Harrigan was born on 31 July 1904 nr Scammon, Cherokee County, Kansas.1 She was the daughter of Hugh Harrigan and Lillian May Stoker.

Josephine was enumerated with Lillian May Stoker on the census of 15 March 1920 at Scammon, Cherokee County, Kansas, as Josephine Harrigan. Josephine is a single white female 15 years of age. She was born in Kansas as were both of her parents.2

Josephine Cecilia Harrigan married William J Lahey on 23 October 1922 at Wewoka, Seminole County, Oklahoma.3
Lillian Harrigan told the story that Mr Lahey abandoned Josephine and the baby near Henrietta, Oklahoma.1 Josephine Cecilia Harrigan and an unknown person were divorced on 29 May 1926 at Columbus, Cherokee County, Oklahoma.3

Josephine worked many years as a cake decorator for Continental Bakers in Kansas City, Missouri.1

Josephine Cecilia Harrigan married William T Clasby sometime in the early 1960's.4

Josephine Cecilia Harrigan died on 3 July 1987 at St Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, at age 82.1 She was buried at St Bridget's Cemetery, Scammon, Cherokee County, Kansas.1
An obituary was in the Pittsburg paper: Josephine C Clasby, 82, Kansas City, died Friday, July 3, 1987, at St Luke's Hospital, Kansas City. She was born in Scammon, and had lived in the Kansas City area the past 61 years. She had been a cake decorator for Continental Bakers, retiring in 1970. Mrs Clasby was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and the Altar Society, as well as Baker's Union Local No 218. Her husband, Bill Clasby, died in 1984. Surviviors include a daughter, Mary Lahey of Kansas City; a brother, Hugh Harrigan of Weir; and three sisters, Evelyn Haggerty and Anna ONeill, both of Raytown, Mo., and Gertrude McKenna of Frontenac. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. today at Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial will be in St Bridget's Cemetery, Scammon. Mount Moriah Funeral Home, Kansas City, is in charge of arrangements.5
