Anna Marie Harrigan was born on 7 March 1910 at nr Scammon, Cherokee County, Kansas.1 She was the daughter of Hugh Harrigan and Lillian May Stoker.
Anna was enumerated with Hugh Harrigan on the census of 13 March 1920 at Ross Twp, Scammon, Cherokee County, Kansas, as Anna Harrigan. Anna is listed as a single white female 9 years old. She is a niece and was born in Kansas. Both of her parents were born in Kansas. Anna is also enumerated in the Lillian Harrigan household for the 1920 census.2
Anna was working as a nanny or housekeeper for the wealthy when she was 18 years old. Anna also worked at the Fisher Body Plant in Leeds, Missouri when her uncle John Harrigan was killed during a strike there. She always said her hands would be bloody from working on the line, but nobody cared. They needed the Union, the UAW.3
Anna Marie Harrigan married Patrick Joseph O'Neill on 28 May 1935 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri. Reverend John Pendergast was the minister. Mr Thomas Coffey, a friend from Ireland was the best man and Lucretia Robinson, cousin of Anna was the attendant.3
Anna and Pat belonged to the Ancient Order of the Hibernians. Anna was the state president Division No 1, Kansas City, Missouri for the Hibernians in August 1968.3
Anna Marie Harrigan died on 21 October 1991 at St Joseph's Health Center, Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, at age 81.1 She was buried on 24 October 1991 at Mt Olivet Cemetery, Raytown, Jackson County, Missouri.1

Mrs O'Neill was born on March 7, 1910 in Scammon to Hugh and Lillian Harrigan. She was married to Patrick O'Neill, who preceded her in death in 1968. Survivors include three sons, John, James, and Daniel; two daughters, Patricia and Mary; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Gertrude McKenna of Frontenac; She was preceded in death by one son, Patrick; four sisters, Emma Harrigan, Philomena Ghilino, Josephine Clasby, and Evelyn Haggerty; and one brother, Hugh Harrigan. Funeral Mass was Oct 24 at St Bernadette's Catholic Church with burial at Mt Olivet Cemetery, Raytown.
