     Evelyn Mary Harrigan was born on 25 November 1902 at Corona, Cherokee County, Kansas.1 She was the daughter of Hugh Harrigan and Lillian May Stoker. Evelyn Mary Harrigan was baptized on 28 December 1902 at St. Bridget's Catholic Church, Scammon, Cherokee County, Kansas; Godmother was Kate Finley.1 She was teaching school between 1920 and 1923 at Roseland, Cherokee County, Kansas.2

Evelyn was enumerated with Lillian May Stoker on the census of 15 March 1920 at Scammon, Cherokee County, Kansas, as Evelyn Harrigan. Evelyn is a single white female 17 years of age. She was born in Kansas as were both of her parents.3

Evelyn Mary Harrigan married Connie E Hopkins on 3 February 1923 at Girard, Crawford County, Kansas. Probate Judge Robert W Colborn performed the ceremony.4 Evelyn Mary Harrigan and Connie E Hopkins were divorced on 26 April 1926 at Columbus, Cherokee County, Kansas.5

Evelyn Mary Harrigan married William "Bill" Joseph Haggerty between 1930 and 1932 at Kansas City, Missouri. They had four sons, one son being a twin of Hugh Edward Haggerty died at birth.6,7,8 In March 1988 Evelyn Mary Harrigan lived at Raytown, Jackson County, Missouri.6

Evelyn Mary Harrigan died on 8 August 1990 at Raytown, Jackson County, Missouri, at age 87.9 She was buried at Mt Olivet Cemetery, Raytown, Jackson County, Missouri.9
