Kathryn was enumerated with Bernard Bartholomew Harrigan on the census of 13 January 1920 at West Washington Terrace, Pittsburg, Crawford County, Kansas, as Katherine Harrigan. She is a 33 year old married white female born in Kansas. Both of her parents were born in Ireland. She is enumerated as a wife.6

Kathryn was enumerated with Bernard Bartholomew Harrigan on the census of 5 April 1930 at West Adanms, Pittsburg, Crawford County, Kansas, as Catherine Harrigan. She is a 42 year old married white female born in Kansas. She was 21 when first married. Her parents were both born in Pennsylvania.7

Kathryn Elizabeth Brennan died on 10 October 1949 at 115 West Madison, Pittsburg, Crawford County, Kansas, at age 61.8

Mrs Catherine Harrigan, 61, of 115 West Madison, died suddenly at her home at about 5:15 o'clock yesterday afternoon following a heart attack. Mrs Harrigan had been a lifetime resident of the district. She was born May 15, 1888 in Scammon and had made her home in Pittsburg fro the past 35 years. She was the widow of Bernard Harrigan, onetime president of district 14, United Mine Workers, and former Commissioner of the Southwest Coal Operators Association, who died Oct 3, 1939. Mrs Harrigan was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs Charles Heston, of the home; two sons, Joseph Harrigan of Kansas City and Bernard Harrigan, Jr. of Chicago. Two brothers, Edward Brennan of Kansas City and Joseph Brennan of Kansas City, Kas., and four grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are imcomplete. The body is at the B C Morgan chapel.9
She was buried at St Mary's Cemetery, Pittsburg, Crawford County, Kansas.8
