The Miner reports on 19 Feb 1915:Tom Grady, an old Scammon boy, who is in the regular Army, is visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm Grady of this city. He is stationed at San Francisco, but was detailed to escort military prisoners to Leavenworth and took advantage of the trip for a visit here. His enlistment of three years is nearly over. He has not decided whether he will re-enlist.9
