In response to your letter of January 6, 1996, we have the following information that might be what you requested. We have registered a marriage of Thomas Grady to Helene McNamara November 7, 1870. Witnesses were Michael Donahue and Catherine Horan. Marriage performed by Rev J. J. O'Reilly. We have searched the archives and cannot find any marriage to Ellen Mellet.
We found a record of baptism of Elizabeth Grady, daughter of Thomas Grady and Helene McNamara born October 1, 1871, baptised October 8, 1871. Godparents Jacob and Briget (last name not clear) Rev. Michael Sheridan.
There are many Gradys in the archives but names, spuses names and dates would be needed for any research.
No death of burial records for St Joseph are in existence before 1924.
I hope the above information is of some help to you We couldn't find any records of a Francis Grady baptized in the 1870's.
